Premium Materials for High-Quality Furniture
All of our furniture is crafted using high-quality components that balance practicality with affordability. We carefully select materials, ensuring that the aesthetic design, durability, and functionality of our products meet rigorous standards. Below is an overview of the materials used in our furniture.
Solid Wood Veneer
You will find solid wood veneers on our cabinetry, wardrobes, tables, and bed frames. Like natural wood, veneers display subtle variations in grain, making each piece unique. We apply 3-4 coats of clear lacquer to most wooden components, ensuring a smooth and durable surface. Our testing ensures that all furniture surfaces meet standards for scratch resistance, liquid spills, and colorfastness, suitable for everyday use.
Solid Wood
Our solid wood products primarily use high-quality American oak and walnut, carefully selected during the sourcing phase. These materials are FAS International grade, with moisture content below 11%, ensuring fine grain and resistance to cracking or warping.
Glass
For safety, most of our glass tabletops are made from tempered glass. Our lacquered glass panels undergo special treatments to enhance scratch resistance, and all edges are polished to the highest standards.
Metal Components
We use only top-quality metal parts, keeping impurities to a minimum. Our metal components undergo a two-layer nickel treatment under chrome for smooth surfaces and resistance to rust. Other metal parts are powder-coated for added durability and a superior finish that is also eco-friendly.
Upholstery Materials
We are committed to ensuring that every piece of our upholstered furniture provides comfort and durability. We use high-resilience foam in our cushions for excellent structural stability, ensuring optimal comfort and long-lasting performance. Cushions and some seat cushions are filled with down feathers, providing temperature regulation and a soft, luxurious feel.
The down feathers we use are controlled for size (2-4cm) and cleanliness (600mm+), with special treatment to ensure softness and odor-free comfort. We recommend regular fluffing to maintain cushion shape. Over time, the foam and down fill stabilize, making your sofa or chair feel smoother and more comfortable.
Leather & Fabrics
We select leather and fabrics based on each product’s design and intended function. To ensure consistency, we guarantee that all furniture in a single order will match in color. We use three types of leather:
- Top-Grain Leather: Treated for a uniform appearance, this leather is soft to the touch and easy to clean and maintain.
- Semi-Aniline Leather: Lightly buffed to preserve much of the natural texture, it gives a high-end feel and improves with age, forming a beautiful sheen.
- Aniline Leather: Imported from Italy, this is the highest quality leather, retaining its natural softness and aging beautifully over time, adding character to your furniture.
Hardware Accessories
All hardware used in our furniture is sourced from renowned European brands. From cabinet connectors to door hinges, we use the finest imported components, such as Hettich from Germany and Blum from Austria, ensuring superior functionality, durability, and safety standards. These hardware elements not only provide exceptional performance but also contribute to the overall quality and longevity of the furniture.
